About Me
I grew up in Fresno, CA as a first generation bilingual Hmong immigrant. When I was younger, I was intrigue about the therapeutic process and I often questioned myself, “how does talking to someone make one better?” It was this curiosity and the passion of wanting to make an impact in people’s life that brought me here.
I have been working in the helping profession over 10+ years. My experience consists of working in an inpatient, outpatient, and a crisis setting. I have a background engaging with a diverse group of population and treated individuals, couples, and families with various different challenges. Some examples are: individuals who suffer from severe mental health issues, substance abuse issues, individuals overcome their panic & anxiety, and those who struggles to find a new meaning in life.
Through my own journey I have overcome my own struggles and learn how to make peace with myself and live a balance life. There is always a negative, and a positive outcome through our choices. We have more control than we think we do and finding a flow in life makes our life more fulfilling and joyful.
